My work in Early Childhood Education began in 2008 and grew over more than 13 years through different roles and responsibilities. I started as an educator and, over time, progressed through roles including Coordinator, Centre Head, and Brand Ambassador.

Working closely with young children, parents, families, educators, and teams gave me an understanding of early childhood that could never have come from study alone. I saw how differently children learn, communicate, respond, build confidence, and develop over time. I also learned the importance of looking beyond an activity or outcome to understand the individual child experiencing it.

Later, my journey took me to Dubai, UAE, where I lived while pursuing my studies in Psychology at Murdoch University, one of Australia’s finest universities, at its Dubai campus. Studying psychology gave me another way of looking at many of the things I had encountered throughout my years in Early Childhood Education, as well as experiences from life beyond the classroom. It deepened my understanding of human development, behaviour, emotions, relationships, and the many influences that shape how people experience the world.

Those years of professional experience, together with my academic learning, continue to shape much of what I create today. My early childhood work now extends into educational resources, printable learning materials, hands-on activities, and ideas that support children's learning and development in meaningful, age-appropriate ways. What I create is informed not only by what I have studied, but also by what years of working directly with young children taught me about how learning actually unfolds.

Writing has become another important part of my work. Through whisperswithnb, I write across Early Childhood, Parenting, Life Experiences, and Psychology, areas that may seem different at first, but often meet in the same place, how people grow, learn, feel, relate to one another, and navigate different stages of life. Some of my writing is shaped by professional experience and study, while some comes from observation, reflection, and life itself.
